(or How We Bring the Fun Even When There's Not a Penny In Sight)
Lincoln loves a good historical site...don't you?!
A life without laughter isn't much of a life at all. Here at The Penny Project we've found that picking up money wasn't the main purpose of our little experiment. It was really about picking up the little bits of joy we step over in our lives every day.
SO...when we had the idea to dress Leslie like Lincoln (and better yet, dress her cat Shirley as mini-Lincoln) for the back cover of the book, the laughter was so gut busting that we just couldn't keep it to ourselves!! And so was born, The Lincoln Log!! Leslie. Her cat. And the friends, family & strangers she convinces to don the stove-pipe hat + beard! How could it bet any better than that?!
